Just enjoyed the Nant Brynglas Circular Walk which took two hours going through beautiful countryside and finishing off in a great little pub in Coychurch named the White Horse.

Great little circular guided walk today at 11am. The Nant Brynglas Walk starts @ the Prince of Wales pub, Coychurch, Bridgend. Things to see on route are 13th century St. Crallo Church and Coity Castle which dates from the 12th Century. This castle was besieged by Owain Glyndwr in 1404 and at the time was the only place in South wales still loyal to King Henry IV. http://tinyurl.com/3xxbuvp
Sandy Bay, Porthcawl, originally uploaded by Tourism Bridgend.
Porthcawl is a great place to go walking in September. Park at Rest Bay and follow the coastline to Newton Beach taking in some great coastal views.
Have a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake at the Beachside Café in Newton. Then if you want to go further, head towards the sand dunes of Merthyr Mawr and Ogmore by Sea.
For some more great walks look out for the love2walk festival taking place in the county borough from 6 – 10 October.
