Whether you are a keen golfer wishing to practise and improve, or a curious beginner, or whether you enjoy sport generally and want to work on your fitness level, then Bridgend Golf could be the place for you.

Located just on the outskirts of Bridgend with direct access off the A48, Bridgend Golf is easily accessible and has plenty of free parking.  As you enter the main gate you pass the 9-hole golf course and the practice range itself comes into view.  You immediately feel that you are in the open countryside with maturing trees and attractive water features.

Everyone is made welcome by the friendly staff and warm atmosphere. You don’t have to be a member.  The main building contains a Reception desk where staff are always available to offer ajunior golfdvice to beginners or new customers and supply you with hire clubs if you don’t have your own.  Junior Clubs are loaned free of charge.  Here you will also find a small golf shop and a café area.

A round of golf on the 9 hole course costs just £7.00  but you don’t have to go out on the course.

For just £3.20 you can purchase a basket of 60 practice balls to use on the 18-bay floodlit driving range with targets set at 50, 100, 150 & 200 yards.

Half baskets are also available at £1.70 for 30 balls.

If you habasket of practice golf ballsve never tried golf before this is the ideal place to try out those clubs and have a go. There is something very satisfying about hitting off a basket of balls and setting yourself challenges!

Steve Gough, the popular and highly respected resident PGA Professional, is also available for individual or group lessons.   His Young Tiger groups are proving popular with boys and girls from the age of 6.

The Golf course itself consists of 9 holes, two of which are par 4, the remainder being par 3 holes.  Considerable improvements have been made recently to enhance and develop the course and feedback has been very positive. The course is testing enough for experienced golfers but also ideal for beginners or those wishing to develop early skills.

The course is perfect for anyone who is struggling to fit in time for 18 holes but still wants to play on a regular basis.  It’s also ideal for older and younger golfers who find 18 holes a bit too tiring!

The course takes about an hour and a half to 2 hours to complete and a welcome cup of coffee or tea with various light snacks are available back at the friendly club house on your return. Free wi fi also available.
